Your privacy
The short version: I keep as little as I can, I never sell it, and you can leave any time.
Your email
If you give me your email (for the cheat sheet, to keep asking Dot questions, or for a Founding Pass spot), I keep:
- your email address,
- when you signed up and which form you used,
- the exact words you agreed to.
I use it to send Little Lab notes, news about the Founding Pass, and the things you asked for. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your email deleted completely, reply to any Little Lab email and say so.
Your email is never sold, rented or shared for anyone else's marketing. When I send email, I use a mailing service to do it, and it keeps your address only to send those emails.
Asking Dot
Dot is an AI assistant built on Claude, made by Anthropic. When you ask Dot a question, your question is sent to Anthropic so Dot can answer it. The Little Lab does not save the questions you ask or Dot's answers.
Please don't type personal details, like your name, address or health information, into Dot. Dot can be wrong and does not give medical advice.
Counting questions
To give everyone a fair share of Dot, the site sets one small cookie: a random code that counts how many questions this browser has asked. It isn't used for advertising or to follow you around the web.
To stop abuse, your internet address is also counted for a single day and then deleted automatically after two days.
Your lesson progress, stickers and settings stay in your own browser. They never reach me.
Shopping links
Product links are plain links to an example of each ingredient or tool. The Little Lab doesn't earn from them and doesn't track what you buy. If you click through to a shop, that shop's own privacy policy applies there.
Fonts and videos
The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your internet address when the page loads. Any videos are embedded from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode.
Questions
Reply to any Little Lab email and it reaches me. I'm happy to tell you exactly what I hold about you, or delete it.
